GAYA HIDUP KONSUMTIF DAN PERILAKU MENABUNG MAHASISWA DI ERA DIGITAL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya hidup konsumtif terhadap perilaku menabung mahasiswa di era digital. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 38 mahasiswa Program Studi Ekonomi Islam angkatan 2023 kelas 4C Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam UIN Sumatera Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh (census sampling), di mana seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan responden karena jumlahnya terbatas dan dianggap representatif terhadap tujuan penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert 1–4 dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS versi 15.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup konsumtif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku menabung, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,806 (p < 0,05) dan R² sebesar 0,739. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup konsumtif yang terencana, didukung oleh kemudahan teknologi keuangan digital (seperti e-wallet, mobile banking, auto-saving), dapat mendorong perilaku menabung mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan literasi keuangan dan penguatan pengelolaan keuangan pribadi mahasiswa di era digital.
